Whether it’s re-discovering who you are, paving the way towards your own healing, or working towards a better version of yourself, Ziya Psychotherapy is here to work with you.

In my 15-year career as a Social Worker in the mental health field and a trained psychotherapist, my passion in providing therapy is to help individuals discover their inner strengths, to find and build confidence within themselves and to experience self-compassion and feelings of connection.

As a therapist, my work with you is ethically grounded in transparency, empathy, and respect. I am committed to providing clients with a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space to explore distressing issues, while also holding space to explore thought processes and underlying feelings that may be difficult to express. I use a trauma-informed, yet eclectic approach influenced by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), IFS Informed, Polyvagal Theory, EMDR Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Coming to therapy can be a very overwhelming and difficult decision, but it does not have to be. It is important to find a therapist that makes you feel connected and comfortable throughout the process. I will work with you at your own pace and suggest approaches that best resonate with your specific needs. We will develop a collaborative relationship to ensure that we work towards what you need and develop a treatment plan that speaks to your individual therapeutic goals.

Fees & Cancellation

Session Rate

$150 for each 50-minute therapeutic session.

Payment Options

Pay using securely stored credit/debit card for automatic session charges. E-transfer and cash are also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours' notice required for changes. Late cancellations may result in a charge, determined case-by-case.


We don't directly process insurance claims. Please check your plan for Registered Social Worker service coverage.
